Here is a neat countertop fortune teller made by the Exhibit Supply Company in the 1920s.

You turn the dial to the question you want answered, drop in your coin, and the yes/no answer appears in the window.

Nice overall condition. Case has been refinished, inside paper is original and shows some very minor water stains as shown in close-up phoot, marque is probably a replacement. Dimensions: 14" wide, 6 1/2" deep, 22" high (including marque)

While the Oracle is in working condition, it is erratic. Sometimes the coin get stuck and other times it doesn't give an answer.

Zoltar Fortune Teller #10978

This is Zoltar, the classic animatronic fortune teller found in arcades, that stands 6 1/2' tall, and augurs a spoken and printed fortune for you.

Zoltar acknowledges your presence and invites you to approach him. Once you insert a quarter (coins may be removed), Zoltar nods his head up and down as his crystal ball illuminates and he sweeps his hand back and forth. Zoltar provides 16 different spoken fortunes and dispenses one of 23 different printed fortunes in the form of a paper card; 2,000 fortune cards are included.
