Lot #909 : Coin Operated
Lion Head
Perfume Sprayer

Early in 1900s people would freshen up while they were shopping in the corner store
by inserting a penny in perfume machine to get a spray of perfume.

This machine features a very attractive cast lion on the front of the machine.

It also features a cut out on each side in script of the word "Perfume"

You insert a penny, push down the plunger to get a
spray of perfume from the perfume jar inside the machine

All original with lock and key, fully working,
but I have never put a liquid in the perfume bottle,

Lot # 784: Perfume Service
Perfume Spray Dispenser

Circa 1920s, made by Perfume Service Company

Here is one of the more attractive perfume spray dispensers, Beautifully restored original machine

The graphic of the lady on the front is original. Notice that the lady is looking at this model of perfume spray dispenser. She looks like a flapper girl from the 1920s.

There is a beveled mirror on the front. The case has been restored.

The insides are all original, but I never filled it with perfume so I can guarantee that it works, but it looks clean inside and the spray bottles are there.

The perfume machine takes a nickel or a dime. I assume you received twice the spray for a dime.

Very rare. I've only seen a couple of others. This one is from my personal collection
