Unlike the more common candy store cash register, the Model 317 has a printer on the side which barber shops used to keep track of how many haircuts he did. I have never used the printer so I can't guarantee it is working.

#68: Turn-of-Century
Turtle
Spitoon

Spitoons are a receptacle for spitting into, especially for uses of chewing tobacco

They were used in the the late 19th century in saloons and other public places

Their use were considered to be cleaner and healthier than the common practice of spitting on floors, streets, or sidewalks.

The Turtle Spitoon was a more attractive option than spitoon bowls because it had a cover and looked like a turtle.

You press your foot on the turtle's head and the back shell flips open so you can spit into it.

Lift your foot off the turtle's head and the back shell closes again

See Video of the Turtle Spitoon in operation below

Dimensions: 12" long, 10.5" wide, 4" tall.
